What once was a blog solely dedicated to my intrepid and indulgent adventures domestic and abroad, is, reflective of my own identity, getting a rebrand. I recently became a mother and I’d like to expand my reflections in this blog space to include the chronicles of my new form of adventure: motherhood. This will not become an exclusively mom blog as I very much intend to merge my former identity with my new one, which means travel remains a passion of mine and will still be captured in this blog, but I’d like to also use this space as an outlet for maternal expression because let me tell you, motherhood comes with a deluge of emotions that require, no demand, expression.  I do also hope that as I cathartically cleanse myself of my maternal musings on this blog that it might offer other moms or prospective moms a spot of comfort, validation, laughter, and sense of solidarity.  And so, if I’m calling this an actual rebrand I figure I need to do just that, therefore I’ve mentally scattered the ashes of LaDolceTeacha.com.  That title drifts out to the Mediterranean sea, dances amidst the northern lights, and suns itself atop the red rocks, taking shelter in the magic and mundane nooks and crannies of my past travels.
